CRC 9HK140 | STANAG Magazine Magwell for HK G36

CRC 9HK140 is a replacement magazine well for Heckler & Koch G36-pattern rifles, designed to convert the weapon to accept STANAG-type magazines instead of the factory HK magazines.

In addition to changing the magazine interface from a "rock & lock" system—similar to that used in Kalashnikov-pattern rifles—the CRC 9HK140 enables straight-in magazine insertion, as commonly found on AR-platform weapons.
The design also provides for three magazine release methods:
  
A side-release button on the left side of the magwell,
  
A paddle release located beneath the trigger guard,
  
An index finger release accessible from the pistol grip hand position.
Installation:
  
Remove the magwell retaining pin and take off the original magwell.
  
Drive out the paddle release pin and remove the paddle. Be careful not to lose the pin.
  
Install the CRC 9HK140 in place of the factory magwell and reinsert the retaining pin into the receiver.
Verify correct installation using an empty STANAG-type magazine. It should insert smoothly and drop free using all three release mechanisms.
