CRC 1U099-MIL | Long Handguard for PK/PKM
CRC 1U099-MIL — a handguard with a quick-release top cover and M-LOK mounting interfaces for PK/PKM machine guns. The quick-release top cover allows for rapid barrel changes and sustained operation.

This handguard upgrades the machine gun and makes the forend area more utilitarian by providing attachment points for forward/vertical grips, bipods, weapon lights, or aiming modules.
The handguard features M-LOK interfaces at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions, and also includes 45° M-LOK slots on the bottom section for mounting carrying/forward handles at a more ergonomic angle.
The CRC 1U099-MIL is a long handguard that covers the weapon’s gas tube and the factory bipod mounting location. Use alternative bipods with M-LOK mounts, or any bipods with an adapter from their mounting system to M-LOK. If you need to retain the factory bipod mounting point, consider the CRC 1U098-MIL model.
For mounting bipods on a Picatinny rail or Harris-type bipods you can choose the CRC 9029 Harris bipod adapter with M-LOK attachment.
Important:
The design incorporates a quick-release top cover to enable barrel changes; because of this the top cover does not maintain optic zero. If you plan to mount electronics, install them on the lower handguard section, which is rigidly secured to the gun’s gas tube. Also note that this portion of the weapon becomes very hot during sustained fire; keep this in mind to prevent damage to installed accessories.For the same reason, we do not recommend mounting primary optics on the top cover — use the M-LOK and Picatinny on the top cover for remote switches and control cables only.
To mount optics on PK/PKM and similar guns, use the CRC 2U080 optic mount.
